Poole, UK, 18 October 2023. Charge point operator ESB Energy has awarded a contract to EVCI service provider Yunex Traffic to maintain a further 50 electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Birmingham and so ensure the chargers’ ongoing reliability and availability. The company will provide an enhanced warranty service, including improved response times, and at the end of the warranty period, it will provide a full maintenance and support service for the new Delta chargers.
Already maintaining more than 80 chargers from a number of manufacturers across Birmingham for ESB Energy Yunex Traffic’s maintenance teams are now also taking responsibility for both warranty support and then corrective and preventative maintenance of 50 new chargers, as well as any repair works that may be required. This work will ensure high level of charger availability across the city, giving drivers confidence in both the accessibility and reliability of the rapidly growing charger network.
